Apply from 16+ with clear, honest criteria

We keep eligibility broad so more strong students can apply, but we stay honest about what camps expect: responsibility, communication, and real commitment for the full summer.

Core criteria

These are the baseline checks we use before matching you to camp interviews.

Age 16+

You can apply from age 16 onwards. Some placements may require 18+, but we review your profile and match you to suitable options.

Conversational English

You should be able to communicate clearly with campers and staff. Fluency is not required; confidence and clarity matter most.

Summer availability

You must be available for the full camp contract window (typically 8-10 weeks, depending on camp dates).

Responsible with children

We look for maturity, patience, and a genuine child-safe mindset. Prior childcare/coaching helps, but is not mandatory for every role.

Stronger applications

What helps you stand out

  • Sports, arts, tutoring, volunteering, leadership, or activity skills
  • Clear motivation for cultural exchange, not only travel
  • Ability to work in a team and follow safeguarding rules
  • Honest application details and responsive references

Not automatic rejection

You can still be a good fit without...

  • No perfect CV
  • No prior U.S. travel
  • No premium certificates (for non-specialist roles)
  • No polished interview style on day one

Authentic note: meeting eligibility does not guarantee placement. Camps still choose based on interview fit, role demand, visa/sponsor rules, and your complete application quality. We review every profile personally and give clear feedback.
